Personal

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching method relies upon three pillars :

First - Building students confidence by :

  • helping students familiarise themselves with all aspects of handling the instrument (posture, hands & articulation)

  • Support students achieve small but noticeable progress each time they play by preparing structured lessons plans and setting measurable objectives for each teaching session & communicating these objectives upfront to the students

  • accompany the students in their musical journey by being a partner and creating a fun learning environment.

Second- Helping students acquire strong musical theoretical foundation by

  • Teaching them solfeggio and asking them to listen to the cords and note down the notes played which will help them improve their ear training and intonation

  • Learning about the history of the composer's life and what inspired them

Third - Developing students performance ability

  • listening to professional performers and working with students to replicate and reflect the same phrase

  • Practice,Practice,Practice!!!

  • Testing students acquired knowledge and giving students praise for well done job and constructive feedback for areas of improvement.

I would love the opportunity to share my talent with everyone who loves to learn music and playing regardless where  is their home.
